Terms and Conditions
Payment terms:
We accept the following forms of payment:
- Cash
- All major credit or debit cards (with the exception of Amex)
- BACS
We do not accept cheques
Payments must clear before repaired item is returned.
Repairs:
All repairs (inspection fee where applicable) are to be fully paid for before equipment can be returned to customer. Items unpaid will be retained in the workshop for a period of 60 days. After the 60 days period, title will be passed to BB Amplification Ltd. Such items passing to BB Amplification Ltd will be sold to recover cost of the repair.
Our standard labour charge is £75.00 per hour. The minimum charge is £75.00, covering the first hour. Subsequent time is charged at 15 minute intervals. In cases where multiple items are submitted for repair as a single job, the minimum charge shall be £75.00 for the first two items. Items submitted in addition to the first two units will be subject to an additional minimum charge of £37.50 per item.
Our standard inspection fee is £75.00. This charge will be applied to inspections and repair quotations. The charge is payable in the event that the customer chooses not to proceed with the repair.
All “Inspection only” work will not be covered by any form of warranty.
We will automatically proceed with repairs when the total cost will not exceed £200.00, per item submitted for repair, unless specifically advised otherwise by the customer at the time we receive the equipment.

Warranty:
BB Amplification Ltd warrants, at its discretion, all repair items for a period of 90 days from the date of repair. The warranty covers labour and parts (with the exception of vacuum tubes/valves, these are covered by a one month limited warranty) and applies to the original fault condition only. Different faults, or similar symptoms with other root causes than the original conditions are not covered by our warranty.
